Neptune Architectural Tamworth

About

Get to know us better

Previously based in Tamworth, we are now in both the Lichfield and Ashby de la Zouch areas. We work with domestic and commercial clients across the Midlands and beyond. Because we know the property and building sector from every angle – designs, drawings, plans through to planning permission and building regs compliance, to the physical build and finish, we really do know our stuff and can hand-hold as much or as little as you prefer.

We prepare architectural plans and documentation to accompany planning applications of all scales and sizes. We also provide technical design drawings to accompany applications for building regulations submission. We often work closely with other professionals such as structural engineers to make sure our projects have been designed to be precise, cost effective and efficient to build.

David O'Connor of Neptune Architectural

David O'Connor is the experienced Managing Director of Neptune. Originally having worked for a number of Local Authorities, David is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). David has broad urban and rural town planning experience with proposals for everything from agricultural developments and conversions, heritage proposals and commercial developments - all the way up to developments involving Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Major Urban Extension proposals (e.g. up to 2500 dwellings), Urban Design, air quality issues, nitrate deposition, detailed highways modelling and biodiversity off-setting. David has a strong interest in construction and technical design. At the same time he has a substantial interest in 3D design and the use of rendered imagery to convey ideas. This is used to good effect on both small and large scale developments to produce photorealistic video flythroughs and VR imagery in order that clients can fully immerse themselves in the proposals at an early stage.
