Neptune were engaged to work on the design and planning of the project and to work through a series of planning challenges to ensure the ultimate success of the project.
Noting these proposals involved the demolition of a frontage building in a Conservation Area, particularly in an area earmarked for future enhancement, we were expecting of a rough ride at the Planning Phase.

We were asked to prepare proposals to demolish the original frontage building to the site, prepare an application for 2 No. flats and secure change of use to a Car Leasing Place for our client Enterprise Rent A Car.
Specifically revamping the appearance of the wider site and securing a new and efficient use of the land was a key selling point but much more work was required to convince the Council.
We prepared a variety of 3D models to consider the best layout that met with the relevant Council standards.
We prepared a Heritage Statement to consider the demolition of the building, prepared a photographic record to submit the evidence capture process prior to its removal and we are pleased to say permission was granted for all the work sought.
